Tori Squires, Owner, has more than 20 years’ experience in grant writing and community development.
Squires served as Senior Program Director at the Iowa Primary Care Association from 2003-2014 (known as the Iowa/Nebraska Primary Care Association until 2011). In that capacity, she led the organization’s community development, policy/advocacy, communications/ marketing, and workforce development activities. Through her work at the PCA, she provided technical assistance to a wide range of Federally Qualified Health Centers – rural and urban, small and large, public entities, homeless programs, and migrant programs. She has extensive experience developing competitive Health Center New Access Point (NAP) applications, as well as Service Area Competition (SAC) and Expanded Services (ES) applications. She has also reviewed grant applications for the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).
Prior to joining the Iowa PCA, Squires served as Senior Program Manager at Enterprise MidAmerica, providing writing, planning, and technical assistance for a number of clients. From 1991-1999 she was a Senior Program Director at State Public Policy Group working with the company’s economic development, health, and human services clients.
She served on the Iowa Rural Health Association Board of Directors from 2009 to 2014, and served as Vice President of the association in 2011 and President in 2012.
Squires holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Journalism/Mass Communications from Iowa State University, and is a Community Health Center Executive Management Fellow, The University of Kansas Medical Center Department of Health Policy & Management.
